We believe it’s important to put some holiday
cheer in the lives of those that are less fortunate.
If you have a charity that you’d like us to consider
donating to, please contact us with information about
the organization. Most of our donations our determined
between February and April, so please
contact us early.
Lighting up the holidays
Last year, Brother's Holiday Lighting, started what it hopes will become a long running tradition! We chose three deserving organizations in King County in need of a little extra holiday cheer, and lit up their holiday season.
Three lucky organizations will once again be decorated with the works this year - full interior and exterior holiday decorations - courtesy of Brothers Holiday Lighting, Kirkland-based Fena Flowers, the home and business decorating company Holiday Assistants and City Flowers of Bellevue..
The businesses will be donating their time and materials to make the holidays a brighter, more enjoyable time for those less fortunate, as a way of giving back to the communities they serve.
If you work for or know of an organization that helps people in need or has had a particularly rough time during this tough economic recession, please nominate them by contacting us at info@brothershl.com. If they are not selected this year we might choose to work with them next year.
Recycling Lights for Charity
Collection will end January 3rd, 2011. If you do not get a chance to drop off those unusable strands this season please do not throw them away. Label them “Recycling for Charity” and hold onto the lights for our collection next year..
Thank you to everyone who participated in our “Recycling Lights for Charity” event in 2010. Collection efforts were a big success in keeping thousands of pounds of lights out of the land fill and produced a nice check for charity.
